Be Well Family Practice
Be Well Family Practice is a full service medical office in Somerset, New Jersey, very close to North Brunswick and New Brunswick. The office is only a mile or two from both nearby hospitals, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peters Medical Center. We take care of patients and their families of all ages as well as their children, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and a whole lot more! We are affiliated with both hospitals but prefer to admit to St. Peters at this time because of the service our patients get and our ease in taking care of them at St. Peters. There is nothing like having your doctor follow you to the hospital; anyone who has had to be taken care of by a strange doctor will tell you that!
Experience
Dr. Irving Henry Kaufman opened Be Well Family Practice in July of 1987 after completing his residency at JFK Hospital in Edison, New Jersey. The practice was named Irving Kaufman MD PC at the time.
Graduation
Dr. Kaufman is a 1983 Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pisa Medical School in Italy.

Services Provided
Our practice treats a gamut of wellness issues such as healthy life style, weight loss and stress reductions services. We do women and men’s health including gynecology exams, prostrate exams, menopause and sexual dysfunction. We provide counseling services for those affected by anxiety and depression and of course we treat acute problems and injuries, as well as suture many wounds. Remember the GP that everyone loved that even came to your home at times? Well, we are still there for you at our office on Route 27 in Somerset. Besides our superior medical professionals and office staff, our outstanding feature is that our office really cares about you and your health. We are partners in your family’s health!
